About us

We are Eric and Rita and together with our 4 adult children, who are already out the door, we form a newly composed family. We live in Genk, a Belgian town with an Italian touch. After all, many guest workers from Italy came to work in the coal mine in the 1950s and 1960s, and to this day an Italian "vibe" can still be found in Genk. Our preference for Italian hospitality and cuisine has always been there, but in 2017 we lost our hearts to the Abruzzo region.

During our many vacations in the region, we built close friendships with the locals. For example, in 2018 we had the opportunity to buy a characterful house Casa di Tonno in the medieval town of Loreto Aprutino. This holiday house has been completely renovated and romantically decorated taking into account the authenticity of the house.

In 2019 we had a full taste and bought our second holiday home in the same village. Casa di Martile had already been renovated very recently. This house has been decorated with hip accents and has a modern look. We are sure that one of our homes will charm you and wish our guests a wonderful time. Enjoy a glass of prosecco and a delicious piece of Italian cheese on one of the terraces with a beautiful view over the Majella and Gran Sasso. La Dolce vita!
